Leventege stain en haaileg volk

1 Tou! Vot mit wat min is en vaals, mit ale hugelderij, ofgunst en lasterproatjes!
2 Ie mouten worden as lutje potjes, dij net geboren binnen. Dij longern noar gaistelke melk, dat nait aanlengd is. Doar zel ie van gruien en zo red worden,
3 as ie teminnent pruifd hebben, hou goud of de Heer is. 3
4 Komt den noar Hom tou! Hai is leventege stain. Mensken hebben Hom wel ofkeurd, mor bie God is Hai eerste keur.
5 Ie mouten joe zulm ook as leventege stainen bruken loaten. Doar kin n gaistelke tempel mit baauwd worden. Wordt zo n haaileg priestervolk, dat gaistelke ovvers brengt, dij God geern zigt deur Jezus Christus.
6 Doarom staait ter in Schrift:Kiek! Ik leg in Sion n stain,n houkstain - eerste keur.Dij doar zien geleuf op baauwt,het zok nait misrekend. 4
7 Ie leuven, en doarom is t veur joe n weerdevolle stain. Mor veur lu, dij nait leuven, geldt:Stain, deur timmerlu ofkeurd,is houkstain worden. 5
8 n Stain, doar ze over strovveln,n blok, doar ze zok aan steuten.Ze strovveln der over. Ze willen ja nait noar God zien woord lustern. Ze kinnen nait aans.
9 Mor ie binnen n volk dat oetkeurd is, n priestervolk van keunenks, n noatsie van haailegen, God zien aigen volk. Ie binnen oetkeurd om grode doaden kundeg te moaken van Hom, dij joe oet t duustern roupen het, tou zien wonderboar licht. 6
10 Eertieds was ie God zien volk nait, nou wél. Eertieds haar God gain omdenken mit joe, nou het E om joe docht. 7

First Peter


2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
cb(2,5);
2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
cb(2,8);
2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
cb(2,9);
2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
